Please take note: Each animal that is adopted must be (if not currently) spayed or neutered. All animals adopted must be indoor pets ONLY! If these rules are not followed the shelter has authority to take back the animal.
These rules are put in place to do our part in preventing an over abundance of strays.

Every pet deserves to be adored, so be sure to take a look at all of our amazing pets! We currently have 10 cutie pies!

Pets Available for Adoption

Sweety Pie

Sweetie Pie is a 4 1/2 year old female. She is spayed, and is up to date on rabies vaccination. She is all black and she is a sweetie pie!   She is a scaredy cat.  Was brought to us and put in foster care after she climbed out of the cage with the other cats and was lost somewhere in the old shelter for three days.  She is loving and loyal.  She likes to sit on her fosters lap and make biscuits, but doesn't like to be held.  She does let her foster pick her up for short periods of time. She likes to carry toys up and down the stairs, climb under boxes and play with you with her streamer toys.  She will talk to you.

Maxwell

Maxwell came to us a stray. He's friendly once he knows you but is reclusive until he does. He's about 2 years old, now neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped.

He's a big boy who likes the girls he lives with (he's the only male we have at the moment) but we don't know how he is with dogs. Young kids may be too much for him.

For more information, call Barb at 218-290-6866. Adoption fee is $100 + tax= $108.38

Robin

Robin is with us because her Dad has a medical issue and Mom is now his caretaker. Since Robin is the needy type and was always with her folks being underfoot and in laps, she has to move on to a new guardian.

At 7-8 years old, she's done with the kitten energy and wants to hang out with her family. Her best friend was a Border Collie so she is open to having a dog friend but not very interested in a cat friends.  She lived a quiet lifestyle and may not like a busy, loud household.

For more information, call or text Mary at 218-370-8461 or Tess at 218-387-5265. Adoption fee is $100 + tax= $108.38

Cora 3.jpg

Cora

Cora was in really tough shape, malnourished and pregnant, found by a cat lover in Hovland.  She lost her pregnancy but gained her health and is ready for a new home.

Of course,  she's spayed, current on all core vaccines, micro chipped and anxious for a new family We don't know how she is with dogs but gets along with the other kitties in Barb's studio.

She's very friendly and clean and interested in meeting new people. For more information call or text Barb at 218-290-6866 or Dale at 218-370-9534. Adoption fee is $100 + tax= $108.38

Cookie

Cookie is a Domestic Long Hair. She is dark grey with white markings on her face. She would benefit from socialization. Does not like to be picked up.

Squigles 5_edited.jpg

Sqiggles

Squiggles is about 4-5 years old. Her owner recently passed away and there was no one able to help her, so a neighbor brought her to us.

She's a big girl at 14+ lbs but could stand to lose a pound or 2. So far, all she will eat is Science Diet 'oral care' but it has paid off resulting in awesome teeth-the vet was amazed. She was not happy to end

up in a studio with other cats  but after several days seems to be adjusting well and wants to interact with people again.

She's spayed, vaccinated, and micro chipped. Like all of our kitties, she was tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia and is negative. It's hard to see in the photos but she mostly looks like a gray tabby but has a lot of orange mixed in on her back and head so may be considered a torbi. For more information, call or text Barb at 218-290-6866 or Dale at 218-370-9534.

Adoption fee is $108.38

Cady 1.jpg

Cady

Cady is 7-8 months old and will be spayed April 29th. She will be ready for adoption a week or so later.  She is already up to date on vaccines (will need a booster) and micro chipped.

This pretty, friendly little gal will make someone really happy and at her age, will still acclimate well with other cats. In her former home, the other cat would beat her up. She just came to us, so as we learn more about her we can update this bio. For more information, call or text Barb at 218-290-6866 or Dale at 218-370-9534
